As a Sample Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the sample management function of the laboratory, as well as other maintenance of the lab. Essential daily job functions for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Receive, reconcile, and accession biological samples
• Record and maintain traceability and security of samples
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the laboratory
• Verify micropipettes and balances
• Treat and dispose of chemical and biological waste
• Inventory chemicals and lab consumables and stock/order as needed
• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline (chemistry preferred)
• Relevant experience (2+ years) may be substituted for degree
• Excellent time and project management skills to work on several different projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with pipetting
• Effective listener and communicator
• Able to document clearly and completely
• Salary $50,000 – $52,500
